The Merton Winter Night Shelter has now run for three successful years. Pioneered by Christian charity YMCA London South West and supported by faith groups across the Borough, it provides accommodation, food and clothes for rough sleepers during the coldest three months of the year.
Running from Dec – February each year the shelter sees churches, community halls, etc open their doors so that rough sleepers can have a warm meal, friendly conversation and a safe place to sleep.
